A Sin Called Love

On her eighteenth birthday, Zorah, a devout Christian, was gambled away by her gambling-addicted father, Thomas, a priest, to Mafia king Mateo Accardi in exchange for settling his $2 million debt. She was forced to marry Mateo right there in the church. Zorah proposed a ""30-day pact"": if she didn't fall in love with him, Mateo had to let her go; if she did, he could claim her innocence. During her life in the casino, Zorah was repeatedly humiliated by Bianca and the other showgirls, but Mateo always fiercely defended his wife. Yet his almost obsessive possessiveness began to suffocate her. He even threatened her childhood friend Daniel with a gun right in front of her. After a heated argument, Bianca pushed Zorah into the sea, and Mateo dove in to save her. Zorah began to realize that she was committing the sin of falling in love with the devil.
