Curse of the Serpent Priestess

Queen Sathia, worried about losing her charm with age and fearing that Pharaoh Ramesses would publicly reject her during the sacred union ceremony, secretly forced the guardian of the holy serpent tomb, Nephra, to perform forbidden magic for her. When Nephra refused, Sathia threw her into the holy lotus pool to be devoured by the sacred crocodiles. Nephra’s sister, Aset, concealed her identity and entered the palace to avenge her sister. Thanks to Aset’s careful planning, Sathia was publicly humiliated when the sacred gates closed during the highly anticipated ceremony, but the backlash from the forbidden magic quietly began to affect Aset as well.
